The peaceful location close to the city center was a definite highlight.

A nice hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed it, staff was exceptional! The breakfast was large and satisfactory with a wide range of delicious options. There was an exceptionally comfortable bed in the lovely and cosy room, I slept very well.

The room had the delightful aroma of cloves or stern anise that just wouldn't go away. So refreshing, unless you hate that kind of scent and need sleep.

The rooms at Ceylon House By Sunrise in Ella are cozy and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. I loved the balcony, where I could enjoy the beautiful views while sipping on a cup of tea or coffee from the electric kettle. The bed linen and towels provided were clean and of good quality. as a guest, I felt right at home in these rooms.

Personally, I would have preferred if all the rooms had a tea/coffee maker instead of just an electric kettle. However, I understand that this is my own preference and others may still enjoy using the kettle.
